It’s not often a planned BBQ gets perfect weather but that’s exactly what happened on Friday. The weather was beautiful and we managed to sit out in the garden drinking cocktails until midnight. Who needs to go abroad when you get days like that?
I wanted to make sure my outfit was light enough for the roasting temperatures but also suitable for when the sun had set and my walk home at the end of the night. I considered a midi dress or skirt but then thought it was the perfect chance to wear my new Animal Print Jumpsuit from Shein. Light, comfortable and cost just £10.50. I love the loose culotte style trousers and the tie belt for creating a bit of shape.
I took my pale denim jacket for once the sun had set and it’s perfect for any Summer outfit. If you’re on the lookout for a denim jacket I’d definitely consider the 915 Teens section at New Look. I wore some simple sandals, also from New Look, and a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses which stayed on my face until about 9pm! Bliss.
